"East Texas by Nature"
Designed by Terri Duerringer

bomtotal.jpg

"East Texas by Nature" is a Block of the Month, designed just for KAQG.  I've designed this quilt to fit any skill level.  The blocks can be as simple or as fussy as you choose.  The quilt can be made in one of two sizes: 30" x 31" or 60" x 62".  You can choose to do fusible applique, machine, or needle turn applique.  If you choose to make a larger quilt, I would suggest doing machine or hand applique.

Fabric Requirements for the 30" x 32"
Background  1 1/8 yards (I used a muted green/gold/brown print)
Border and Sashing  1 yard (I used a muted brown with green)
If Fusing - 1 package of Steam-a-seam 2 Lite (recommended)

Fabric Requirements for the 60" x 62"
Background  2 7/8 yards
Border and Sashing  1 3/4 yards

Watch this page for more information, including a BOM workday after the November guild meeting.  Have fun in East Texas!!
